Music
I love music. LOVE IT! And I love a lot of different types of music from pop to hip-hop, from Christian to folk. I’ve got a wide array of songs on my iPod. About the only things missing are country and heavy metal. Those are two genres I have zero interest in.
I’m a fan of buying and listening to music, but I’m also a huge fan of going to see it live. For the most part, nothing beats a live show. I’ve fallen in love with artists after seeing them live - Barenaked Ladies (the original lineup), Matt Nathanson and Parachute to name a few. I’d heard some of the music before seeing them but their live shows cemented by fanity.
There are only a few people I’d love to see live that I haven’t. I’m pretty blessed. So far this year, 2012, I’ve seen Todd Carey (that’s him in the photo above - from 2011), Sister Hazel, Rachel Platten, Ryan Star, Andy Grammer, Mat Kearney, Chi McClean and JJ Heller.
I’ve got many more shows lined up too…Todd Carey again, Kelly Clarkson, Tyrone Wells, Rachel Platten (two more times), Matt Nathanson (twice), Third Day, Coldplay, James Morrison, Andrew Belle and Ryan Star (again). And that just takes me into June! You might say I’m a little concert obsessed. And I’m totally okay with that.
